Meet Dr Leavers

Dr Brett Leavers is an Australian-trained Otolaryngologist, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Specialist, and Head and Neck Surgeon based in Sydney, NSW. He has been practising across NSW for over ten years.

You can see Dr Leavers in private and public healthcare settings. He has appointments at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney, St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith, St George Private Hospital and Hunters Hill Private Hospital. He serves as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Sydney.

Dr Leavers has a Medical Science degree from Sydney University and a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) from Flinders University, South Australia. He completed his Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgical training in New South Wales, furthering this with an advanced surgical fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.

Dr Leavers is heavily involved in the teaching of the next generation of medical specialists in his field. He has published in various journals and presented his work at conferences in Australia and overseas. He has a passion for patient safety and advocacy sitting on various committees that focus on improving the delivery of quality healthcare to patients.
